Easiest way to get kids to read through their work properly? Ask them to ‘read to the wall’. Makes them want to read out loud and ‘hear’ any mistakes. Then comes ‘correction time’ where they play teacher and fix their mistakes :)

Any ‘CPD’ course that has Ofsted in the title will ultimately have no impact on teaching and learning! ‘Sharing outstanding practice from the new Ofsted Framework!’ 🤦‍♂️ If you’re doing anything in your school for Ofsted, you’re doing it wrong!
