Thank you BCEdAccess for always clarifying and following up with the inclusion of all kids with disabilities, when these sorts of announcements are made.

How many times will it need to be said, this effects ALL disabilities. This is not just an autism funding conversation. The Down syndrome community has shared how devastating these changes will be, yet they continue to be absent from rooms where these talks take place.

The lack of punishment for the death of Florence sends a message to families that the life of a person with Down syndrome, doesn’t matter. We want an appeal.

I simply can’t find the words. The loss of Arley McNeney (Cruthers) is devastating to the core. She was a powerful educator & advocate who helped bring disabled kids & families together with our Adaptive Soccer team. I want to say so much more - but tonight I am just heartbroken.
