I am excited to share that my three minute talk “Early Neural Predictors of Communicative Development: A Longitudinal Approach” was announced as one of the three winners of the TMT competition at NIMH training day today! It was wonderful to share this work and hear all the talks!

That’s a wrap on #FITNG2024! Met up with old friends, made some new ones, and had a blast presenting research on novelty-evoked ERPs & communication outcomes. Going back to lab inspired by the brilliant work being done in the baby imaging world 😁🧠👶

First PhD application… SUBMITTED!! 9 apps ready for submission, 4 more to finalize. One month to go before everything will be in 🥳🥳

I’m angry, but oddly it’s a cold anger this time. I want to make something good and beautiful in this cruel and stupid world. I want to plant a tree or bake a loaf of bread — not out of cheerful optimism or even hope, but as a defiant middle finger to all this darkness.

Just submitted my final batch of PhD applications! Feeling lots of emotions right now, but I’m focusing on being proud of this accomplishment, and so excited for what the future holds ☺️

My first paper (published last October) just got its first citation! Such a small thing but knowing that my work is being read and used to progress the field made my entire week 😁😊

I am thrilled to announce that this fall I will start my PhD in Clinical Psych at Case Western Reserve University under Dr. Anastasia Dimitropoulos! I am so excited to join this wonderful lab and CWRUpsychsciences ! Grateful for my many mentors at Pitt, NIH, & Child Development Lab 😁🧠
