Our open-source #miniscope analysis pipeline is now in eLife - the journal! Check out Minian, a powerful 1P calcium imaging tool with ⏬ memory demand & intuitive visuals 👀 Led by Phil Dong in collab w/ Tristan Shuman, Kanaka Rajan & @DanielBAharoni. Read it: elifesciences.org/articles/70661
So happy to have been part of this collaboration with the Dean Buono lab. By combining human psychophysics and RNN computational models we show that the brain may generate spiking sequences to multiplex working memory and timing information.
Are you in Latin America and interested in learning more about #Miniscopes? We are partnering with ISN School to hold a 3 day hands-on Miniscope Team workshop in Buenos Aires. Apply by August 20th and @DanielBAharoni, Tristan Shuman, Denise J. Cai, Ph.D., & Federico will see you there!
Our new paper is out! “Paradoxical self-sustained dynamics emerge from orchestrated excitatory and inhibitory homeostatic plasticity rules” pnas.org/doi/abs/10.107… Amazing work with Dean Buono Rodrigo Laje @mikejseay THREAD! #paradoxicaleffect 1/10
Thrilled to be in Buenos Aires with Miniscope Team (Tristan Shuman @DanielBAharoni Federico) to teach our Miniscope workshop and celebrate Argentina's win. I can't begin to convey the joy that has exploded thru the streets. #Messi𓃵 #WorldCup

I’m starting treatment for #breastcancer today. I’m feeling strong and am sharing this news in the hope that others will get their #cancer screenings done. A routine scan likely saved my life! Pls RT UCLA Health David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA
We are excited to share our latest design for chronic, recoverable, multiprobe implants tomorrow morning at #SfN2023! With @melinmaxwell and Anne Churchland we devised an approach to get 24 shanks in a single hemisphere of the 🐭 brain.
It was amazing to work on this and learn from our very own wireless expert! A pleasure to work with you Takuya SASATANI Dr. Marcel Brosch Federico
