It was great to be showing a new work at #OxLightFest again. Making Temenos for The Cultural Programme & TORCH Oxford has been so meaningful for us, working with such brilliant historians, poets, archaeologists & medical professionals and being inspired by and connected to the stories

Special fact - all the 18th & 19th century music in ‘Temenos’ was played on original instruments from the Bate Collection of Musical Instruments of musical instruments. Listening to those really gave the experience of how different music would have sounded to our forebears, even well known works.

I’ve been a bit busy. #Phoenix the moving story of the 1984 fire York Minster & its fantastic restoration is currently running until Nov 2nd inside the Minster itself & our tribute to Leeds #OutoftheAire is back @LightNightLeeds this week in Millenium Square on Thurs & Fri.

Something I learnt researching #Phoenix The craftspeople and builders York Minster rebuilt after the 1984 fire not just to repair, restore or create anew after the loss of the medieval transept, but to do it for the generations who are to come, part of a long line through time.

Really pleased to have added Mary Gawthorpe and Leonora Cohen to #OutOfTheAire for this special version of it for @LightNightLeeds this year. The beautiful images of these two incredible women were drawn by the talented artist Suman
