Hank has put in some hard shifts over the last year with 4 dogs coming to mind as a sort of hospice. He was always so gentle with them including Alba. Chance is old as you can see from her teeth but she is very healthy. Hopefully a longer term friend

8 months ago I got a call about Rolo. He was a street dog I’d fed for 18 months. He had been smashed into by a truck in a hit and run. He was in agony and hiding with no hope. You won’t believe where he is today… (1/8) 🧵

It took 2 big surgeries to fix his broken hip and leg. He was in a confined space for months. The pain was immense but Rolo never complained once (2/8)

The rehab was a success. He was one of the quiet dogs. A little gentle man who would go unnoticed. He was the same on the streets. We had no adoption requests. Very few people want an injured dog. But then his luck changed… (3/8)

I always say we don’t need 100s of requests for a dog. We only need one perfect match. A couple visiting from Czech Republic 🇨🇿 fell in love with Rolo. He was off on a big journey (4/8)

He just recently arrived and start d to sleep off the jet lag on his very own sofa. Not bad for a dog who used to live under a shack in the jungle (5/8)

His new owners are a couple who love him and he even has his very own sibling. Funny fact… Rolo can answer commands in Czech, Thai and English now (6/8)

If you look close enough you’ll see Rolo still has a small limp. He’ll always have that. He says it’s no bother to him though as it reminds him of how low he was once and where he is now (7/8)

He’s done well for himself has Rolo. A second chance in life and he’s only about 3 years old. A fairytale ending 🙏🥰 (8/8)
