The more I lean into addictive features (scrolling, drinking, loving, etc) the more I lean away from stable features (crave to exercise, eat well, sleep well, succeed personally, etc). It’s weird to live in an age where I know this so clearly and yet still do the bad things.

As I get older I realize that I’m focusing more on the traits of things rather than their categorical natures. A boat has a hull, port and starboard sides, steering mechanism, etc. As compared to a boat relating to sailors, rowing, boathouse/docks, etc.

I’m just so sorry for people who live beneath 6’. I can’t even imagine that kind of life. This does not include those with dwarfism however. They are strong people, resilient to the core and to be trusted in times of dire need.
