One of the worst things about Jira is that tickets can be (and usually are) not assigned to anyone. Who are you supposed to follow up with in that case? Who has the next action? Who knows? Chaos reigns!

This is pretty good. Last employer was insistent on me filling in the gaps that HireRight left in their report. Turns out that was as big a red flag as I though it was at the time.

The worst possible way to onboard somebody is by plonking a stack of [virtual?] onboarding material on their desk & walking away with a "have at it." The message sent is "we're not a real community & couldn't care less about you." Instead, have a conversation or two or three.
