Thanks to the Teagasc Midleton Sheep Discussion group who invited me down yesterday to discuss the importance of trace elements and vitamins at their pre-breeding meeting. The meeting took place on the farm of James Walsh, Shanvogoon Charollais flock 🐑🐑🐑

This evening I submitted my dissertation for my MSc at Aberystwyth University, Wales Thanks to Dr.Gareth Griffith and Rhun Fychan for their teachings on making quality silage. Finally, I want to thank Agri-Lloyd for all their support & everyone who has helped along the way.

Thanks to Gurteen College for the invite yesterday to talk with the second year level 6 Dairy Herd Management & Advanced Drystock classes. The practical class was focused on rumen health & performance, while discussing the range of services and products we offer at Agri-Lloyd.

Our new stock bull "Ballykilroe Venice" who was purchased yesterday at the Kilkenny bull sale Venice has won 2 National titles as a show calf at the Irish Aberdeen Angus Association All Irelands & calf show🏆 We look forward to put him to work with the pedigrees & dairy cows

Pre-Cut tests started up again last Wednesday in County Cork, in between the rain and sunshine 🌦️ Nitrate levels varying between farms but sugars remained constantly low at 1.5-2.5%. Hopefully see a rise in sugars this week ☀️📈
