The Maple Leafs are deeply saddened by the passing of Eddie Shack. A three-time all star and four-time Stanley Cup champion, Eddie entertained Leafs fans on the ice for nine seasons and for decades off of it. He will be greatly missed. Our thoughts are with his family.

If Joe Kelly serves a single game of that 8-game suspension, he will have been punished more than any of the players that cheated to win a World Series title in 2017. Let that sink in.

To any young or budding Leaf fans..don’t be put off by this uncomfortable, nauseous anxiety you’re feeling. Savour it. Let it envelop you entirely and morph into a thick layer of scar tissue. Accept your grotesque new form. It will define you now. Happiness is a distant stranger.
