Today should be a beautiful day for some baseball at CC Sabathia Field.

Pitching implodes and offensive rally in the bottom of 7th falls short. Final versus CCC 15-12. We are now 3-11 on the season.

We resume baseball after a week of rainouts and cancellations. 4 games in 5 days. #persist

Drop another one 10-0 to CCA. Finishing a suspended game tomorrow at Marshall to determine the playoffs for the 4th spot. #persist

We finished the game versus Marshall. We scored one more run in the 5th to cut the lead to 2, but gave up 3 in the bottom and was unable to score any more before the 20 min time limit expired. We lose 10-15 in 6.

Today we rematch CCA at home. Junior Owen Kozak gets the start on the mound. #persist

13-3 loss. Marshall Shorts drives in one run with a triple down the RF line, but the offense leaves 6 runners in scoring position. Sophomore Curtis Carter returned from injury to contribute a double and struck out all 3 batters in the top of 5.

Tonight we celebrate our lone senior in the final home game of the season. Charles’ favorite baseball memory is “applying the tag for an out in a throw down at second.”

We take home the win on Senior Night versus St. Martin. 17-10 final.
