Congrats to our Mr. Melvin Hopewell! He is this years recipient of the Simply Smart Educator Grant offered by Knoxville TVA Employees Credit Union Foundation, for Incentivizing Student Success! These funds will be used for the much deserved student incentives here at KVA.

I enjoyed visiting Kelley Volunteer Academy this week, and seeing how the Lions are incorporating our 865 Academies vision into their inspiring mission to help students earn a diploma after falling behind academically.

So many things happening at KVA today! Never a dull moment. Dr. Faulconer wanted to send the kids off to break with full bellies of pizza. So guess what? We did! Appreciate the staff for jumping in to help, it takes a village and we have one of the best!
