I open Twitter for the first time in maybe 10 days to find people actually trying to intellectually justify calling someone a c*nt. What a time to be alive.

Nothing like putting an idea on social media, receiving comments, and being blocked for said comments that aren’t racist nor sexist.

When I got into this, I "thought" marathoners were crazy. Well, now I know they are. But Crazy in all the best ways. Crazy dedicated. Crazy supportive. Crazy loyal. The #SiloDistrictMarathon was beautiful & painful. Full of camaraderie & competition. It was more than I imagined!!

LetsRun.com Guys, I get the concern. But instead of nit-picking the #SiloDistrictMarathon, can we just be thankful that Chip Gaines ran a marathon and raised $250k and attention for rare cancers? Sometimes the bigger cause is much more important. I’m a crazy about clean sport but come on.

This week in running. 1. People who don't know that much about the sport think the BAA is sexist. 2. People who know too much about the sport are attacking a clearly well-intentioned race. Let's take a deep breath people.
