One way in which Kim family’s dynastic communist (actually Juche) regime in North Korea most closely approximates an ancient or medieval East Asian kingdom, is its tendency to physically eliminate entire biological families of purged Party cadres or accused traitors or enemies of

So the Chinese regime is asking for "exchanges." It reminds me of of that old Soviet joke: "What is the meaning of 'Exchange of Opinions'? "It's when you go with your opinion to the Party Secretary's office, and come back with his."

Chinese media is reporting (gloating) on the workers strike at Boeing but some of the netizen comments show it's a double edged sword: On guancha: "Haven't you seen how much wages have risen in the American Empire?" On Sina: "Thank you, my Fatherland" breakingdefense.com/2024/09/boeing…

I asked the latest Open AI o1-preview in Chinese this time if Taiwan is part of China. It resisted giving a straight answer (as it did when I asked in English). This time when pressed, it chooses Taiwan is part of China as that answer “aligns more with the mainstream viewpoint”
