Bannau Brycheiniog is the Welsh name for the Brecon Beacons, but how do you say it? National park bosses have adopted the Welsh name as its title It is pronounced ban-aye bruch-ein-iog, with the ch making the same sound as in loch bbc.in/3MWcmbo

David Kurten Brecon Beacons hasn’t “changed” its name. It’s always been Bannau Brycheiniog, it’s just that the English is being dropped… This isn’t complicated, sweetheart…unless you have a single digit IQ.

Both Daily Mail Online and The Telegraph incorrectly reporting that #BannauBrycheiniog rebrand went ahead without consultation. The amazing guys at Creo led some wonderful sessions for us 👏 We put so much thought into the whole process and are delighted to see so many welcome decision
