The number of Kids committed to playing & competing in competitive sport worldwide is dropping rapidly, why?

The off season where the lads mix with their mates (grassroots lads) for friendlies etc. one lad still stands out for me just goes to show what sort of talent they let go & give up on (brilliant player) 👏 got it wrong completely…you’d be looking at an asset to the club now.

1st time I’ve actually spoken to him since he left & not only a great footballer but a great lad as well,very mature & respectful.He didn’t fail,they failed him miserably. You enhance their lives, taught them life lessons, they showed u nothing but how cruel & vile ppl can be

Who controls the Academies culture & environment…the leadership (that small group of decision-makers).

Just got humbled by a team that plays football the way its supposed to be played. A lot could be learnt from them and especially how the develop their youth/mentality/style.

There is one thing being told & knowing something to actually understanding & delivering it.

He’s more of a PR specialist in the way he shapes his image, the overhyping doesn't help. Some are just extremely lucky to be where they are, how many would/could do it & some may even do it better given the opportunity. You owe it to your network…full stop.
