3rd graders did an awesome job giving book talks for the first time today! Their time in the library was used to pre-teach the book talks beginning in their classroom next week that is part of the new reading curriculum. EPS Libraries #epspride

My heart is full when our students use the library at recess to imagine and explore what’s exciting to them...dreaming up recess library clubs and making flyers, draw and chat breaks, ozobots and just enjoying a great book. We’ve had over 100 students this week! #epslibraries

In the library this week we’ve been using the Glo-germ kit and the book “Sick Simon” for a lesson on minimizing the spread of germs and effective hand washing. I’ve enjoyed teaming up with the school nurse on this timely lesson. #epslibraries
