In only six years, 25% of all Washtenaw County residents will be older than 60, leading to unprecedented demand for senior services. The senior millage provides the funding needed to help older adults take on caregiving, age in place and find independence in new ways.

The senior millage would cost $0.50 per $1,000 of taxable income, meaning that a resident with a home with a taxable value of $100,000 would pay $50 per year. That’s less than $5/month for sustainable, long-term funding for our senior population. Say YES to Seniors on 11/5!
