🚨 Over 1.4 MILLION emergency food parcels were provided by food banks in our community in just 6 months. This is 69% higher than the same period 5 years ago. This can't go on and we refuse to stand by while so many of us are pushed to the brink, without enough money to live on.

📣 NEW: Millions of people are turning to food banks because Universal Credit is falling short. And now the UK government is voting on brutal cuts to disability support. We’re in Parliament today to urge MPs to ACT on hunger and hardship.

Disabled people are already overrepresented at our food banks. The last thing they need is support taken away from them.

❗️ The changes the UK government has announced will help protect some disabled people. BUT we need to make sure support is there for disabled people who will need it in the future. Being disabled isn’t a choice. Everyone should be supported when they need it.

Food banks cannot and should not be the solution to hunger in the UK. We need change. Repost if you agree.
