I am extremely humbled and honored to be one of the two winners at the PhD students’ day (JDD SFR QuaSaV). Winning the title is a proud moment for our lab team, as it’s the first time someone from our group has earned this recognition in the event’s 17-year history. 🥺

Exciting news! I’ll be sharing my thesis findings through an oral presentation at the European Conference on Fungal Genetics (ECFG) in Dublin this coming March. Dublin, here I come!! 🇮🇪

Back when I was doing my master’s thesis, I had the habit of rating my performance in the lab every evening when I get home. My supervisor advised me against it, but I didn’t fully understand why. Now, doing my PhD thesis, I see why. Research is not a sprint; it’s a marathon.
