Yasar won the toss against TownvilleCC and elected to bat. At 21/3 Hamzah scored 117 reviving the innings along with 42 from Sam taking the total to 256/8. A disciplined bowling display led by Yasar 3-36, Ahsan 3-40 Amir 2-38 and Aamir 2-65 bowled Townville out for 210.

Asad lost the toss and Bowling Old Lane Cricket Club elected to bat first. Uzmat was pick of the bowlers with his 4-47 and Amaan 2-31 bowling out Old Lane for 182 At 88/5 in 29 overs, the man of the moment Saany came out and scored a superb 60* to win the game with 3 balls left.

The 1st XI boys scored a mammoth 323/8 in 38 overs vs East Bierley CC in the Priestley cup. Kyme blitzed 114 in 73 balls Adal Islam41, Ahsan Hafeez Bhatti 41 and Hamzah Iqbal 42 in 21 balls. East Bierley only managed 210/7 in 38 overs with Aamir taking 3-25 and Yasar 2-48.

Asad lost the toss however regular wickets ensured Batley were restricted to 182 ao in 36 overs. George 4-19 Ijy 2-43. At 33/3 the boys were under pressure however Amaan (89) Khanny (42*) put on 110 for the 4th wicket leaving Ijy (29*) to add the finishing touches.

The Gordon Rigg Bradford Premier League T20 Rigg Bash starts tomorrow! The lads travel to Wagon Lane to take on Bradford & BingleyCC in their first fixture. The 2nd XI will travel to East Bierley after a week-off due to Eid. Experience in Nahim Ashraf is welcomed into the side and a long-awaited return to the Bradford League after 8 years, in the experienced MCC boy, Tuseif Arshad will mark his debut for the club.

The 1st XI returned back to winning ways after beating Baildon CC . Aamir led the way with 5-46 supported well with Amir 2-57 restricting Baildon to 217. Kyme top scored with 67, supported by Yasar 45 and a brilliant unbeaten 54* by Sam Johnson knocking 217 off in 48 overs.

A phenomenal effort by the 2nd XI meant Bierley were bowled out by 93. Ijy 2-31 Saad 2-38 but honours belong to George with his 5-21. Farakh blitzed 34 in 18 balls but Hans set the standard with his unbeaten 54 in 37 balls knocking off 94 in 13 overs.

The 1st XI travel to New Farnley CC in a tough test on Saturday. Unbeaten in the league thus far, New Farnley will be keen to remain unbeaten but Yasar and his troops will hope to give them a first defeat. One change, Amaan makes way and experienced Amjid Khan comes in.

The 2nd XI welcome New Farnley CC to Jer Lane on Saturday in what looks to be a tough encounter. New Farnley currently sit top with Jer Lane 2nd, the boys will look to hopefully close that gap on Saturday. Adnan, Arslan, Amaan and Haris are all welcomed back into the side.
