I see the difference between all the classes at my clinical school and it helps me realize what kind of teacher I want to be and what kind of teacher I do not want to be. #ElonEd

I used to think teachers were just teachers. Teachers have families outside of school and things going on in their lives besides school. Teachers need mental health days just like students need them. #ElonEd #Ed2110

Nature-based education should be something that more schools incorporate into their curriculum. It is more than just throwing them outside and letting them play, they should have activities to do outside that encourage learning. #ElonEd #Ed2110

I absolutely love the "Pirate Treasure" story. This shows how nature-based learning can spark and encourage creativity. Even though it is math or language or science or history, creativity is a crucial skills for children to learn and explore. #ElonEd #Ed2110

The last day in the school broke my heart. I was so upset to leave those students...I may have cried. They wrote words of wisdom for me and as I was reading them I was crying. I never realized how tough leaving a class behind could be. #ElonEd #Ed2110

During my student interviews, I asked "What is one thing you would change about school?" She responded, "I don't know. School is perfect as is." This melted my heart because she was being so sincere. She enjoyed coming into school, which made me happy! #ElonEd #Ed2110

The research for my project in Education and Society is so interesting. I never thought of how many different views people would have on reward systems. I am REALLY enjoying reading everyone's different views. Can't decide what side I am on! #ElonEd #Ed2110

I never really thought about nature based learning, but after Tuesday's class, I think it would be so beneficial to incorporate into the curriculum. There were no distractions (technology) and it was more fun having a discussion in the woods than in the classroom. #ElonEd #Ed2110

This class has ended and I am going to miss it! This was my first ed class and I enjoyed learning about sides of teaching that I never thought about. I will take everything I learned this semester into the rest of my years studying education and in the classroom! #ElonEd #Ed2110

I finished the script and it was a fun project! I did the same research I would have done for an essay, but I enjoyed writing the script. I love assignments like this, it makes learning more fun. I want to give my future students assignments like these. #ElonEd #Ed2110
