87 years after graduating, Momma Campbell returned to Riverton Elementary School on Wednesday. Now 104, Campbell wanted to donate memorabilia from her days at Riverton. Her great-great-great niece (99 years younger) started kindergarten at RES this year. #ThePowerOfUs

Yesterday in fifth block we had a battle for the best topic sentences. We discussed what made a good one. The winners wrote their sentences on the board. #ELA #middleschool #ACAPprep

On Colbert last week I mentioned my 3rd grade teacher, Ms. Mueller, who after reading a poem I wrote, told me I could be a writer when I grew up. I never forgot those words. So what an utter delight when I looked up from the signing table in New Orleans and saw Ms. Mueller there!

Today was my last day at New Hope High School. I am so thankful for my time there, and I will miss it! After fall break I’ll start my new position at BuckhornMiddle. After 20ish years I’ll be back home cheering on the Bucks! 💙🦌💛
