Day 5 planting spring wheat. Conditions are ok…but wouldn’t turn down a rain day!

Calving ‘25 is officially over…. But it’s been over for me for a few weeks now:) The cows calving after about April 20th receive no special attention. Seeding progressing along nicely. Still praying for a rain delay

Last of the in crop spraying today. 2nd pass liberty on the last seeded canola. Been extremely dry, had just enough rain to get it going. Praying for more than spotty showers. This fields behind but looks good I think.

Over 2100MT of barley, chopped whole into small pieces and packed tightly. Needs to be covered in plastic and left to ferment. We call it , Silage.

October 6th. We’ve had some patchy frost but this is a pretty late killing frost for my part of the world.

Canola harvest is all wrapped up. One more time blowing off all the chaff and powdery mildew. NH3 mask works good to save my eyes and lungs
