Welcome to the world little fruit flies! In an ongoing lab where students in Mrs. Coker's class complete a dyhybrid cross of fruit flies, it's a big day as the larvae have hatched into grown adults. Students phenotyped the new fruit flies, taking stock of their traits.

High-school Math Curriculum Committee members met to continue the work they started this summer, looking at common pacing, assignments, and assessments. Teachers compared test questions to Webb's DOK which prompted great discussions about task and assessment design. #mcslearn

Bill Bryant channels Jonathan Edwards as he & Katie Bryant show the Integrated Studies students the rhetorical feat that is "Sinner's in the Hands of an Angry God." Earlier, students guessed whether quotes were from heavy metal bands or the fiery revivalist himself. #GoBJHS
