Moses Kaahwa, #ICSAUganda’s Mentorship Program Lead, officially opens the evening by welcoming alumni from all 4 cohorts and reminding us of the power of community. He celebrated the commitment it takes to show up even in a busy world by making time to invest in their networks.

In her powerful remarks, the #CGIUganda Chair Jane Okot P' Bitek Langoya reminded us that governance leadership isn’t just about strategy and compliance. It’s also about resilience, self-awareness, and mental wellbeing.

She encouraged the alumni to prioritize stress management, embrace healthy work-life rhythms, and create space for rest and reflection, which are all essential for sustaining high-impact leadership. #GovernanceLeadership

Our Guest Speaker Joseph Ajal, CEO PrecisionHR Proprietary Ltd starts the alumni off with reflections on the differences between the traditional career path & the career lattice approach. He challenged the alumni to change their mindset to pursuing career lattice as opposed to career ladder.
