Today San Francisco debuted several new large scale art installations, opened a new park in Chinatown, and SFMTA started a new subway shuttle service or something. I really dig the tiled wall in Chinatown Station. It's the kind of thing you'll always find something new in.

This morning, an SFMTA crew was removing the street markings around the accessible boarding platform at the Church & Market. I hope they are extending the platform they built too short to fit a bus + train, or even a single train making board from the street between posts.

A brick-like paving treatment is being added to the crosswalk at Sanchez & Market & 15th Streets. The bricks are made by melting colored asphalt squares with a metal template overlay into fresh pavement with a blow torch machine. The stencil gets rolled back showing the design.
