👏👏 exactly the people that should be leading on housing. I just really hope Simon Clarke takes notes from Pierre Poilievre’s housing policy in Canada. There’s massive potential for a proper centre-right party leading on the front-foot on housing. Long may it continue.

£15 billion investment announced for improvement in transport and not a single penny goes towards either East Yorkshire or North Yorkshire. Once again, the more rural areas are forgotten about. The transport links in rural towns are horrendous, and need investment. And fast.

So Labour complain that we “left a £22 billion black hole”, but then gloat a year later that they’re going to be spending a hell of a lot more. If that black hole was real, they wouldn’t be so willing to spend like they currently are. Embarrassment of a government.

Nigel Farage, and Reform, are not serious about running the country. Zero intention to provide a fully costed manifesto. Zero intention to actually improve the standard of living. Their only intention is to prioritise themselves.

Reform lost its first ever defences in last night's local council by-elections, yet GB News runs this news article. Complete and utter rubbish from a news broadcaster that has now become Reform Propaganda TV. Embarrassing.

Obviously the Tories should oppose votes at 16, and pledge to reverse if in office - learn from the mistakes of the Cameron era and do not accept this government's constitutional reforms as the new status quo... ...and then end the Youth Parliament, for good measure.

This is completely not right. You can’t buy cigarettes, drink alcohol, gamble or even get married until you’re 18. Yet this government feels that 16 year olds are able to make a big decision like this. Either, you reduce the minimum age across the board to 16, or leave it at 18

Another farcical Farage policy. He claims it would cost £250m/year, but an impact assessment from the government from 2023 claims it would be £400m. Another “£17.4bn” spending promised, with no prove of a costed manifesto. He’s a Corbynite at heart, claiming to be right-wing.

James Cleverly back is fantastic Claire Coutinho deserves a promotion, and she would be great in Health. Andrew Bowie deserves a promotion too. Katie Lam also deserves a place. Really exciting reshuffle that will set us up to challenge Reform and Labour.

Very good to see James Cleverly🇬🇧, a proud advocate of getting Britain building more homes getting the Housing brief. I really hope that is a sign of where the party is going under Kemi Badenoch 👀

Considering the context, it was a good set of by-elections for the Conservatives we held 3/4 of our defences and won several town council seats, whilst increasing vote share in some places. Bromley was disappointing but we are still well placed.

When Boris Johnson claimed Starmer failed to prosecute Saville as DPP, Pippa & her chums were outraged for months & demanded an apology. Now Peter Kyle has made a much more serious Saville smear against Nigel Farage, Pippa thinks it's just - "punchy". The media are the problem.
