Kenya’s Energy CS proudly, announces that out 12 B negotiated with AfDB for power supply across the country, almost half is allocated his region & he thinks that is the greatest news we should hear or was pandering to powers that be. And that is not tribal, just national duty!!

As early as 2009, then Ministry of Medical Services warned of over reliance on donor funds for HIV & other health issues. That there was need to endeavor to reduce steadily % donor funding for such critical issues as HIV to sustainable levels. No action. The reality is now here!

There is actually need to shift the politics of Kenya. Can’t continue to recycle the same guys over & over again & somewhat expect, hope that - whatever combination comes in will do miracles or change our future trajectory. Most if not all are beneficiaries of state largesse!

Following the passing of former Chair of IEBC, Wafula Chebuka, so much is being said for or against. My condolences to his family. For them, they have lost a loved one. As a country, we must tame the intensity of politics - so that elections do NOT become a life & death issue!

A Nation in which leaders perpetually preoccupy themselves with power intrigues, self interest and self preservation, never-ending politics is incapable of competing in 21st century!

The Constitution of Kenya 2010 provides for ACCOUNTABLE governance. One of the best in the world. Office of Prime Minister, Office of Leader of the opposition etc is the same mischief politicians use to sustain largesse of a few. No, No, No! Leave the Constitution alone!

We can’t talk of a technological / industrializing society and relegate maths to the periphery. Let us not do experiments with our education system. Maths is the language of society. In fact no education system is inherently bad but what we do with it! Let kids do Maths!

There is no need to “prophesy” or argue about who will win or will not win the 2027 Kenya Presidential Election - citizens will decide through universal suffrage, let us focus on work. A country cannot be about political power 24/7!

When the political class comes to terms with reality of the heavy lifting required to address myriad of challenges facing Kenya, & serious intent expected of leaders, is when we will put the country on firm development trajectory! The ramifications of political games are heavy!

Kenya is becoming unnecessarily agitated, and angry country - the Butere Girls Play didn’t warrant all that fiasco. Could have been handled by the courts, or Drama Festival Officials if it was outside set guidelines. Police had no place in it!

He is risen, the Lord is risen! The resurrection of Jesus Christ completes redemption from sin for all generations, for those who believe. “…This same Jesus who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven”. A blessed Passover!

A powerful prayer conference over the destiny of Kenya ongoing in Kasarani - the youth must take their places to usher in that Kenya!

Throwing shoes (or any objects) at other people is very wrong, let a lone at the President of Kenya! Intolerance at any level is unacceptable, and contrary to the practice of democracy. Speak your truth and let others speak theirs too. It is that basic!

Integrity is deeply at the very core of the soul of society - which society are we? Do we condemn politicians for plundering our resources because we truly hate theft OR would we do exactly the same? Experience of Kenyan who has lived in Japan for eight years.
