A year ago, Michael Shanks MP was elected in Rutherglen as Scots voted for a Labour government. Michael and his team are fighting relentlessly for our communities. Next year, Scots can reject almost two decades of SNP failure at Holyrood and choose a new direction with Scottish Labour.

I am honoured to have been shortlisted in the Scottish Labour Rutherglen & Cambuslang/Cumbernauld & Kilsyth twinned selection. I have lived my entire life in this community, growing up in Rutherglen and Cambuslang and raising my family in Blantyre. I am ready to serve.
