It's been a nice run here on Twitter. 15 years I've considered this my town hall to the world. I'm not deleting my account but notifications are turned off now. Whatever algorithm is used since the turn over seems to show me everything I'm not. Seeking Skies Azul 🫡

YouTuber Chris Cappy did a better video than I ever could on the subject of the likely US strategy for attacking Iran. Give it a watch. youtu.be/ybLnO_koyjo?si…

Ukrainian Farmers, trying to cultivate the land, are being targeted by Russian war criminals. We have the ability to stop this. I just wish our government would act. youtu.be/jlTnKYTxWOY

Today is the birthday of Ukrainian composer Mykola Leontovych who in 1916 composed ‘Shchedryk’ or ‘Carol of the Bells’, based on a Ukrainian folk chant. Here it is performed by Helena Androsova:

“Putin is the problem; Ukraine is not. Putin is the obstacle to peace; Ukraine is not. Putin is the one who should feel as much pressure as possible, not Ukraine. Putin is the one who started this war; Ukraine didn’t,” says David J. Kramer, executive director of the Bush

The world-famous Christmas carol – amidst concrete, metal, and destroyed equipment. Deeply moving. The Ukrainian choir sang "Shchedryk" in the engine room of the DTEK power plant, destroyed by Russian attacks. It's enough to bring tears to your eyes.

After 3 years working under Putin’s missiles and drones as our Ambassador to Ukraine, I resigned when Trump kept appeasing Putin. The America I proudly served for 28 years does not bow to dictators. It’s not who we are. But the Trump Admin keeps doing exactly that. 1/3

Now Trump is pressuring Ukraine to cede territory to Russia to get U.S. security guarantees - land Putin failed to take in 4 years of war. In 1938, Neville Chamberlain declared "peace for our time" after allowing Hitler to annex Sudetenland. In 1939, Hitler invaded Poland. 2/3

This undermines U.S. national security. Appeasing dictators never achieves long-term peace. It didn’t work in 1938. And it won't work now. We need to turn up the pressure on Russia. History will not be forgiving to those who enable Putin’s war crimes. Nor should it be. 3/3
