I'm disappointed Hertfordshire County Council #recycling centres don't have a solid #plasticwaste stream. "Too much contamination" said a Letchworth centre worker. Nearby counties have a solution e.g. Cambridgeshire County Council . Maybe a chance to learn from each other?

So this logo says this #plasticfree #plantbased packaging can go in our council's food waste bin, nice! Does anyone know more about it?

New word of the day: #agrivoltaics. Combining agricultural and solar PV land use. Solar panels above crops stabilise soil temperatures aiding water retention, and plants are cooler than gravel keeping panels efficient nrel.gov/news/program/2…

I am on strike for the first time, for these same reasons. We must stand up for action of fairness and equality among colleagues so that the UK can maintain its world-class higher education system. #ucuRISING

New paper modelling pests and pathogen spread in urban forests. It is important to consider diverse transmission routes & tree stresses in parks, gardens & roadsides. Additionally, precise info on tree locations & species is vital. doi.org/10.1016/j.ufug… Cerian Department of Plant Sciences
