CNN, Fox News, NBC, ABC and CBS just issued a joint statement: "We join virtually every other news organization in declining to agree to the Pentagon’s new requirements, which would restrict journalists’ ability to keep the nation and the world informed of important national

SCOOP: After two public court hearings, a Florida judge has issued a restraining order against Rep. Cory Mills for "protection against dating violence." Mills's ex-girlfriend filed for the injunction in August, alleging sextortion & violent threats. More TK from the decision.

I’m humbled by the trust of my colleagues to serve as the next President of the Florida Senate. Today, I was surrounded by the love and support of my family, friends, colleagues and staff as I was officially designated President-Designate. x.com/FLSenate/statu…

One would think if someone thought these texts were actually brilliant discourse, they would be happy the conversation got leaked.

Chatter in Democratic circles on Capitol Hill isn't so much about whether the Florida Legislature will try and screw House Ds out of seats but which incumbents may be forced to run against one another. This could all get very ugly for a caucus already reduced to 8 of 28 seats.

I think Hegseth severely overestimated the importance of the badge in the first place. Meanwhile, he underestimated the impact this type of gatekeeping has on coverage. It's like telling cops they can't look in that greenhouse. They may never have bothered, but sure will now.

Today Sen. Cory Booker blocked passage of my bipartisan bill to rename the street outside of Cuba's embassy in D.C. as “Oswaldo Payá Way," which is designed to confront the Cuban regime with the legacy of Payá, a dissident who they murdered because he advocated freedom. I am saddened

If you want to write your own analysis that says "Great news, Collins is polling at 11.5% in a head-to-head and less than half that with Renner in the mix," you go right ahead. Until then, I'll have to live with you questioning my ability to read a poll.

Four of five of the congressional districts with the highest ACA rates in the country are the four Miami-Dade districts. The last one is in Kissimmee. Numbers 6-10 are all Florida districts. All this makes the subsidies argument a Florida issue more than any other state.

Of all the stupid shit this knucklehead has ever said, this takes the cake. Not gonna even mention how a lack of insurance would have bankrupted our family when my wife spent 16 days in an ICU. How about when his wife battled cancer? How does he think that was paid for?

A response of sorts to my interview with Rep. Frederica Wilson on concerns Miami-Dade is the epicenter of a coming ACA expiration crisis. Mario Díaz-Balart says compromise might be reached if Senate Dems just vote to reopen the government. Also, Rep. Carlos A. Gimenez supports a bill to extend subsidies a year.
