Students will remember you because you genuinely care about them. If you don't love spending time w/ children, no amount of training, PD or inspirational quotes in the world will overcome it. Love what you teach, but love WHO you teach more!

Amidst prolonged contract negotiations between schoolteachers who are fighting for a fair wage and Leon County Schools who are opposing higher wages, the school district is now emailing teachers today encouraging them to attend a food giveaway.

Teacher retention: if you want to keep the best teachers, treat them like they are the best. Few teachers leave an environment where they feel valued, supported, appreciated, and treated like professionals.

In schools, it's important to recognize that successes belong to everyone, not just students. When teachers and staff celebrate achievements, it creates a culture where accomplishments are acknowledged and valued by all, fostering a sense of pride and shared success.
