The decline in birth rate statistics is inevitable. Until all barriers for women and new parents are removed and better affordable childcare is provided, birth rates will shrink.

Offences of dishonesty are always serious but the court gave her the most lenient of sentences so they didn’t think it was that serious The conviction is now spent so, as far as the law is concerned, she is rehabilitated

This is just another example of why we need a better understanding of spent convictions… it’s why so many, particularly women never get a chance to move beyond convictions.

We work with other organisations and women who have experience of the CJS. They see this all the time. Labour had an opportunity to set an example of how rehabilitation should work…. They failed. 🤷🏼‍♀️

If you are a woman…yes!!

We now know women wronged and failed by the government are not ranked equally with other victims such as Post office workers… their loss and issues are less important than filling pot holes!!
