Every time I fail a spaced repetition review for a card which I remember thinking was almost too trivial to write down, I become more convinced that everything I read without making cards for is a waste of time.

Just pushed an update on custom deck backgrounds and theming: pine.substack.com/p/toasts-and-t…. Had to overhaul the UI to get this working nicely, but really pleased with the results. Custom styles will also apply to publicly-shared decks and social images. Okay, AI time.

Some of my favourite decks capture the more obscure topics (My cards on Dragon Age lore are a particular favourite of mine). I certainly find these the most pleasant to review.
