Check out this great video of the Iowa Fertilizer plant! This really showcases the incredible scale of our facility and the innovations that drive our production.

Today, IFCo and our employees were thrilled to donate winter coats to elementary schools in Fort Madison. We hope the students enjoy the coats and are able to continue participating in all the outdoor activities they can even in the cold winter months!

IFCo experienced an unplanned interruption due to a loss of electrical power and the plant will begin the restart process immediately. We will provide background details in the next series of messages.

In the next few days, you will see higher than normal flaring with higher than normal noise levels and other steam venting. Flaring is the flame that is visible above our facility. The flaring during startups is, by design, safe and harmless to the environment and the community.

The intensity of the flaring could be amplified at night by the particular timing of a startup stage or due to low cloud cover. Iowa Fertilizer continues to meet and exceed all air quality permits and regulations regarding these flares.

The plant startup will be completed as soon as possible as it is our intent to get back to production in the next few days. IFCo will maintain our commitment and focus on safety, the environment, and the well being of our surrounding community during these startup activities.

IFCo was proud to donate $2,500 to support Fort Madison High School's "Cyberhounds" Robotics Team. The donation will help the team travel to area competition events. Check out pictures of the team, its robot, and IFCo's Managing Director Darrell Allman.

IFCo’s turnaround was concluded successfully, which will improve efficiency and increase production. We plan to restart the facility in the coming days.
