@james_Joseph98 We welcome your feedback on making admission ceremonies as accessible as possible to all. We’ve already been looking into the possibility of admission ceremonies outside London. What sort of places do you think would work well and where? Please share your ideas #LawSocAdmissions

A solicitor, Emma - In-house Potter, who could not afford the train fare to attend her own admission ceremony is calling for The Law Society to hold them outside London. See the response from Chancery Lane in today's Brief, from @TimesLaw: link.thetimes.co.uk/view/61966ba0b…

A campaign by a solicitor Emma - In-house Potter who could not afford to attend her own admission ceremony has persuaded The Law Society to trial events outside London -- in the student law pages of @TimesLaw today. thetimes.co.uk/article/law-so…

Great to see Emma - In-house Potter's work with The Law Society covered in the Student Pages today. Emma has worked relentlessly alongside TLS for Admissions Ceremonies outside London and thanks to Catherine Baksi for covering. Exciting times ahead.

www-legalcheek-com.cdn.ampproject.org/c/s/www.legalc… Both Emma - In-house Potter and I are delighted that the Law Society are actively working to engage with #MissionAdmissions and are open to localised admission ceremonies. Since the pandemic professions must be open to change, and the legal sector is no different.

So sad that this has become the story rather than the tragedy of human beings struggling to find sanctuary. Having taken in refugees himself, Gary has surely earned the right to express his opinion.

In my leadership consulting practice I witness no change in the mental health damaging, family wrecking, health breaking long hours culture in law firms and in-house where such hours are normalised. They are abnormal. When will you all say no? Don’t wait for that doctor’s call.
