I'm withdrawing from The Game Awards. It's an honor and a dream for Megabonk to be nominated for TGA, but unfortunately i don't think it qualifies for the category "Debut Indie Game" I've made games in the past under different studio names, so Megabonk is not my debut game 🥸

Spent the morning having a quick look at the ultra early new Substrate Toon BSDF / Toon Profiles added to UE5-Main Branch this past week, looking cool, although no specular stuff is implemented, just diffuse but promsising! #UE5 #UnrealEngine #GameDev #TechArt #Stylised

Dear game devs, please avoid bubbles, luxury ideologies and toxic positivity. Solution: Get you game in front of as many people as you can, as often as you can. Play your games at conventions, online and at your home. Play every week for years on end, with as many as you can.

RSGabe👓🔜 PAX East People don't understand... we've never owned the games. Not in the 80s, 90s... let alone now. All we've owned is a license to use them. The only difference between then and now is that they now have the means to revoke it. Beforehand they'd have to go to your home...

Gaming internet community the last 24 hours: “These game dev shutdowns and layoffs are terrible! It has to stop!” “Piracy is ok! These companies make millions of dollars. Stealing doesn’t hurt anyone!” 🙃

Malakado™ ✪ Or just play a game genre that you, I don't know...Enjoy? 😅 - Let devs create what they want to create - after all, we make games to entertain players. Not everyone will enjoy everything, and that is okay.

For the few who wonder why Crimson Desert has that "Unreal Engine look" even tho it was made with an in house engine. Its because the environment has Quixel Megascans. 70% of what ppl like to call "UE5 look" comes from most games having megascans as their default environment
