This is it . 3 39 in the morning Thursday. 4 days ago I was having supper with my wife of 24 years and two of our 3 children in barrie ontario . Fast forward to now I'm sitting beside my hole life sleeping in a hospital bed in Toronto waiting to have a lump removed off her brain

I've been awake for last three days and nights beside her . I didn't know how much she means to me until 3 days ago . I listen to her cough and wish it was me there instead .

I wish I hadn't of worked all the time and taken advantage of her good nature all the time like I did . I wish I had of taken her on that family holiday she always wanted to go on

I hope God finds it to give me one more chance to treat this woman like she deserves . I look in my 3 kids eyes and our dogs eyes and I want to be able to tell them it will be alright .

But I can't. This is out of my hands now . It's in God's hands and this beautiful sunnybrook hospital building . She's sleeping now I've been beside her awake in a chair for last 56 hours. Can't believe I'm looking into eternity

And I know I have to abide by whatever the lord decides this morning and I have been far from a perfect man but if he gives her the strength she needs to fight this or he decides it's time for her to come home to him I will be strong for the 3 perfect children she gave me .

And a near perfect dog .
