In over 20 years in education, I’ve never had a teacher refuse to show me a lesson plan or talk to me about what they are doing in a classroom I visit. Nor can I remember any complaints about it from any administrator I had an ounce of respect for.

Fascinating tidbit: When I asked, PTU President Calabro said teachers offered to extend the school day by 30 minutes equal to four weeks more of instruction. Management turned it down.
