The discussion focused on assessing the seed multipliers' capacity for the upcoming planting season & beyond.

IITA, Rwanda Agriculture & Animal Resources Devpt Board, AGRA - Sustainably Growing Africa’s Food Systems. & Seed Systems Group are training CEOs & Production Managers of seed companies in #Rwanda on business management practices& hybrid maize seed production. This follows an IITA assessment highlighting challenges in sector & proposed targeted solutions

The campaigns taking place in seven districts are instructing farmers on the use of improved seed samples for the 2025A planting season, and raise awareness about post-harvest #handling, education on crop handling and #storage techniques to preserve harvested #crop quality.
