Another successful showcase for ICHS! Biology & Chemistry students were able to show off their Funky Ferments Project (homemade cheeses, lacto-fermented pickles, rootbeer, and yogurt) and all the wonderful learning they've done.

What a beautiful day to take our biology students to the zoo to learn about endangered species!

Biology students were able to make fermented pickles today. They relished the experience! We also used class-grown herbs from our Lettuce Grow Farmstand, which was a big dill! 🥒

Did you know aluminum cans have plastic linings? Using lye (in a fume hood because you produce hydrogen gas), you can dissolve the Al and leave just the plastic! IDEA Center HS
