Today we submitted our initial comprehensive contract proposal to FDP management and are currently awaiting their response. We listened to your input and believe that this proposal cares for many of the worker’s concerns. We will post updates as they come available. UNION STRONG!

We spoke with FDP management this morning regarding our ongoing contract negotiations. We are expecting a counter-proposal from them by the end of this week. Updates will be shared as they become available. Hang in there and stay #IBEWstrong!

Due to ongoing concerns around COVID-19, we have made the decision to cancel all meetings of IBEW LU824 for September. We are hoping to resume our normal meeting schedule in October. Please reach out to your Rep with any concerns, STAY SAFE, and remain #IBEWstrong!

Update on FDP Bargaining...we submitted our most recent counterproposal yesterday and are awaiting FDP's response. We're making progress and will keep everyone up to date with any new developments.

Another FDP counter proposal was submitted by 824 yesterday. We’re getting closer to a tentative agreement and are hopeful to have this wrapped up very soon! Thank you for your continued support!

We have just submitted what will hopefully be our final counter-proposal to FDP for a first contract! Fingers crossed and we will send an update when we know more! Keep doing what you do and stay #IBEWstrong!

We are excited to announce that we have reached a tentative agreement on a first contract with FDP! We will be setting up some Zoom calls to go over the details with the members of the bargaining unit, so keep an eye out for an email invite!

The tentative agreement reached between IBEW 824 and FDP was overwhelmingly ratified by the members of the bargaining unit. Congratulations to everyone on a first agreement and we will be reaching out soon to all those still on the FDP payroll with next steps. Stay Safe!
