It is almost one week since #IAASF2024! We want to thank everyone for attending this year's event at Redworth Hall Hotel including our excellent speakers and exhibitors and all our delegates. We will be sharing some highlights soon but for now, here is a first look if you missed it.

Last Thursday, we introduced Craig Ross to #IAASF2024 to discuss 'Promoting and Protecting Heritage in Saudi Arabia's Cultural Enlightenment'. It is always interesting to hear what is happening in other parts of the world when it comes to cultural protection. Thank you Craig!

Last week the IAASF Committee hosted the 5th IAASF Conference at Redworth Hall Hotel to discuss the theme 'Developing #Resilience for the Protection of Cultural Venues'. We were delighted to showcase our #Cultural #Protection Services and #accredited #training programmes.

During #IAASF2024, we welcomed Chad Simpson - #Resilience and #Security Lead for Science Museum Group (SMG) to discuss 'Preparedness, Response and Crisis Management'. The IAASF Committee was delighted to award Chad the Young Cultural Protection Leader - Cultural Protection Award.

The final speaker to take to the podium at IAASF 2024 was Valentina Sabucco APP - #Security and #Protection Advice Manager at Arts Council England. Valentina discussed 'Security Considerations When Planning Events in Spaces with Indemnified Items'. Thank you, Valentina!👏
