🚢 50 years ago today, Harwich and (P)arkeston FC finished fourth at the GVV Unitas tournament, which was celebrating its 10th anniversary. 🇳🇱 The Dutch event was won by Regio Noord. 🦐 #HPFC Unitas-archief

🏆 The Harwich and (P)arkeston FC awards for 2024/25 will be handed out tomorrow night. 🤔 Who will be joining this list of legends? 🗣️ As ever, if anyone has info which can help fill in the blanks, please let us know!

Some good pre-season matches set here (all at home!) but no Oakley game, for obvious reasons. Hoping a way is found of keeping the Norman Mann Memorial Cup going in some form or other going forward...

⏪ On the day of Harwich and (P)arkeston FC's annual awards night, here's a throwback to the 1953 dinner. 🏅 Held at the Alexandra Hotel (Marine Parade, corner of Kingsway), the event saw Freddie Lane - who had missed the Amateur Cup final injured - receive a special runners-up medal.
