Queer collective Beacons Icons and Dykons (BID) is looking for a local Project Ambassador for two days work across February 2024. The purpose of this paid (£300) freelance role is to support a gathering of LGBTQ+ communities at new event hosted by the Torch Theatre.

Sadly, many young people feel like they don’t fit in at home, or school. An inclusive theatre group can be a place where everyone belongs, and this can change lives.

👏 👏This is what I hope the spaces I support are like. It‘s a constant assessment and all about listening to your participants. They will tell you if you’ve done it and it keeps changing. Keep listening, keep developing, keep supporting. ⭐️
