Patients include those with head and neck cancers, dementia, stroke etc. Feeding through an NG tube, PEG tube that may not provide enough nutrients for the patient so SLPs work towards safe oral feeding to prevent risk of pulmonary harm #dysphagia #rehabilitation #speechtherapy

I am very honored to be part of this change. Swallowing difficulties in head & neck cancers deserve more attention & the patients deserve more support. The patients’ quality of life greatly depends on feeding & swallowing before after cancer treatments. #slt #headandneckcancer
