#hotsaucereview time - this #mustard #hotsauce from Cutch’s Fiesty Foods in Kirkland OH is really interesting. Sunflower butter gives it a lot of thickness. While mustard is the 1st ingredient, it’s very pepper forward. Gochugaru are a great base pepper. Overall 8/10, 2/10🔥

Could this be the perfect #FathersDay #hotsauce? A honey beer #beerinfused #hothoney ?! First had this offering from ⁦Spice Beast⁩ last Summer when judging at Philly Hot Sauce Fest. It packs a decent habanero punch that got judges’ attention 8.6/10 overall and 4/10 🌶️🔥

The strap on my cooler broke at the last ⁦Hot Sauce Fest ATL⁩ , so I was due for a new one. Check out the custom peppers my daughter painted on it! Happy #FathersDay to all the Dads.

For Father’s Day, I took my kids on a food adventure. Never had Culver’s or Whataburger, so after reading that Culver’s was better than #inandout , I had to see. I will say, Culver’s #butterburger just edged out Whataburger. The sear was 🤌. Toss fried cheese curds on top - 💣.

The hottest thing that Culver’s has is Franks Buffalo Sauce, which isn’t as salty as the Buffalo Sauce at Whataburger. I was hoping for a bit more sourness from the sourdough on the patty melt. I think that Whataburger’s peppercorn sauce gives them an edge here.

This cheese sauce from Culver’s is really good. Better than I’ve had in some gastropubs. These pretzel bites are pretty addictive. They appear to be flash fried, but are soft little pillows of happiness. Toss up between these and fried cheese curds - both are nice options.

I usually hit some thrift stores a couple times a year with my daughter. We play a game of who can find the best stuff. If only I had more room in the cabinet for glassware… #tabasco #goodwill

The first #hotsauce competition I was in was at Orpheus Brewing in Atlanta about 6 month before it closed. I grabbed Most Unique and People’s choice at that event. Jason was an amazing brewmaster who made awesome stouts. Miss this place. Will always hold a special place for me.

This is a junior Whataburger. I intentionally didn’t get the mustard, as I wanted to compare burger to burger with Culver’s. I did opt for the brioche bun, which was pretty flat. The burger didn’t have the same nice sear that Culver’s did. I did appreciate the Monterey cheese.

As previously noted - Whataburger patty melt was better than Culver’s sourdough melt. The quality of the burgers is close, so the peppercorn sauce here pushed it ahead for me. I also dipped it in some jalapeño ranch for extra kick. WB Buffalo sauce is way too salty though.
