Notre Dame actually has 983 wins. The NCAA unjustly vacated 21 wins for Notre Dame self-reporting an issue they discovered which is exactly the right thing to do. Meanwhile UNC had fake classes and several programs covered up sexual abuse. 0 vacated wins for them.

It makes literally no sense at all. People are reducing universities and athletic departments down to just regionality while overlooking culture, history, and values. It also makes no business sense. SMU has more value to the ACC than they do to the Big 12.

Re: On3’s acquisition of Rivals I don’t get why On3 has decided to use the Rivals brand (rather than On3 or both separately) for recruiting. I think in the last few years, On3 has become the top destination for recruiting while Rivals’ reputation fell to a distant third. Maybe

Stickers on helmets are so unaesthetic. I get the winged helmet is “iconic”, maybe even the 2nd most iconic, but it’s ugly as hell. Notre Dame and then in no particular order: Texas Bama usc LSU

That feeling when you’re watching your successor break down barriers you claimed the program couldn’t overcome on the field and in recruiting

The Notre Dame recruiting machine lands another one! 3⭐️ (for now) WR Devin Fitzgerald commits to the Fighting Irish! He holds offers from Clemson, michigan, FSU, Stanford, Arizona State, & many others. NFL players sending their kids to ND says a lot. 4 for 40 means something.

Technically the oldest rivalry in FBS football, predating their respective rivalries with usc and Ohio State. Since it’s dormant, I’m fine with it. But when it’s active, #18 is too low.

Ohio State-Penn State is a recent rivalry that neither program cared enough to protect. It’s neither historic, nor competitive, nor annual. Top 30 is a stretch, top 10 is an insult to college football.
